Multiplying the Impact of Mathematics Teaching and Learning
Fall 2008 test scores showed the percentage of Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) students rated as proficient or better in mathematics increased on average by 5 percentage points across all grades tested, with students in grades four and eight making remarkable increases of 9 and 10 points.
