EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Milwaukee Partnership Academy
The Executive Partners of the Milwaukee Partnership Academy (MPA), an Urban PK-16 Council for Quality Teaching and Learning, are seeking an experienced, multifaceted leader to serve as its Executive Director.
The MPA is a self-supporting, non-profit educational organization designed as a comprehensive teaching and learning prototype for the preparation of K-12 teachers for Milwaukee Public Schools and provides professional development for in-service teachers through a strong and unique partnership. The partnership is a distinctive collaboration of public schools, public and private postsecondary institutions, businesses and philanthropic and community organizations.
The Executive Director reports to the Chair of the Executive Partners and works in partnership with the Executive Partners. The Executive Director is responsible for the day-to-day management of the MPA and assumes leadership in establishing the vision, goals, strategies and the fiscal health of the MPA in consultation with the Executive Partners.
Required Qualifications: Five years of urban public school teaching and teacher leadership and/or administrative experience, experience in a partnership and Master’s degree. Preferred qualifications include a doctoral degree, 6 or more years of urban public school teaching and teacher leadership and/or administrative experience and leadership experience with an urban partnership.
